WE PLAYERS PRESENTS SHAKESPEARE'S TWELTH NIGHT

In an ongoing partnership with the park, the theatre group We Players presents a unique setting of Shakespeare's tale of shipwrecks, mistaken identity, and unruly love. The We Players transform Hyde Street Pier into the busy seaport of Shakespeare's Illyria, where you might encounter a shipwrecked youth, local jazz musicians riffing in the streets, or witness a fight break out between rivals. Evening shows and matinees available.

With strong voices and a striking harmony sound, Keith and Sylvia sing traditional and contemporary songs of the sea. On tour from England, and accompanying themselves on concertina, they bring "breathtaking harmony work that leaves the listener gasping." - The Folk Mag (UK).
In addition to the reservation information above, tickets will also be available at the door (entrance to Hyde Street Pier) beginning 7pm on concert night. Entry begins 7:30pm for 8pm concert.

Gregory Peck as Captain Ahab, Richard Baseheart as Ishmael, in the classic 1956 John Huston directed version of Melville's epic novel. Watch for Orson Welles in a cameo as the minister Father Mapple, and legendary English folksinger A.L. Lloyd as the ship's shantyman.This is our last film in the 2012 series.
