The 25th annual Sea Music Concert Series at San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park concludes with two great singers performing together. Acclaimed solo performers John Roberts and Debra Cowan have teamed up to present a program of old and new songs of seafarers and seafaring communities. John Roberts, accompanying on concertina, has a longstanding reputation as one of the finest performers to emerge from England’s folk music revival. Debra Cowan, an East Coast singer and guitar player originally from California, brings a fine voice, expert guitar accompaniment, and a deep knowledge of traditional American songs to every performance. Together they present a compelling program, with fine musicianship, warmth, and humor.
