Acclaimed solo performers John Roberts and Debra Cowan have teamed up to present a program of old and new songs of seafarers and seafaring communities. John Roberts, accompanying on concertina, has a longstanding reputation as one of the finest performers to emerge from England’s folk music revival. Debra Cowan, an East Coast singer and guitar player originally from California, brings a fine voice, expert guitar accompaniment, and a deep knowledge of traditional American songs to every performance.
