How to Become a Trail Junior Ranger

1. Download the Junior Ranger Activity Book and print it front to back.

2. Complete the program by using the official map and guide brochure.

3. Once completed, email us (at ntir_information@nps.gov) a photo of your completed booklet. Be sure to include your address and full name in the email, as well as the booklet, so we can send you a Junior Ranger badge!

How to Earn a 200th Badge

1. Download the 200th Activity to either print or use on you computer with an illustration software.

2. Pick a place on the trail that you have visited. Or pick a Place from a virtual visit.

3. Draw the place on the worksheet and answer the questions.

4. Once completed, email us (at ntir_information@nps.gov) a photo of your drawing. Be sure to include your address and full name in the email, as well as the booklet, so we can send you a 200th Junior Ranger badge!

Alternative Activity: if you are unable to do the illustration activity, you can write a short poem about a place along the trail and email it to the address listed above.
