ST. CROIX FALLS, Wisconsin: Sarah Waterworth has been selected as the Administrative Officer for the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway. Her responsibilities include oversight of programs related to financial, property and personnel management, Commercial Use Authorizations, and contracting.
Sarah most recently served as the Administrative Program Specialist at Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area in Massachusetts.Before joining the National Park Service in 2007, she worked for the USDA's Agricultural Research Service performing water quality monitoring and as a policy researcher for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
In announcing the selection, Riverway Superintendent Chris Stein remarked, "We are very excited to have Sarah join our team. She has a depth of policy knowledge and experience in park administration and strong analytical skills that enhance administrative efficiencies. Her previous work with developing and managing park partnerships is a good fit with the Riverway."

Sarah is a native of Washington, D.C.She holds a bachelor's of science degree in Environmental Policy from the University of Maryland and has completed graduate coursework toward a Masters of Liberal Arts in Environmental Management at Harvard University.
Sarah began her new position on August 11.
