Pacific Ocean Parks Technical Assistance Call

Pacific Ocean Parks Technical Assistance Call Projects
The Pacific Ocean Parks Technical Assistance Call (POPS) was an annual request for proposals administered by the Ocean Alaska Science and Learning Center (OASLC) between 2004 and 2013. In 2014 the cruise ship settlement funds were liquidated and distributed to various high-priority coastal and marine projects around the Alaska region. The amount of funding available fluctuated from year to year based partly on National Park Service budget allocations and partly on the performance of cruise ship settlement funds which were managed by the National Park Foundation. Proposals were reviewed by an interdisciplinary team of National Park Service employees.
