During two weeks in late May and early June, 1864, one of the largest battles of the Civil War was fought at Cold Harbor.  Join us as we offer ranger-guided walking tours through the battlefield and offer living history programs with re-enactors.  Learn about Civil War artillery, infantry tactics, camp life, medical care, and more.  

Saturday, June 3:
10:00am:  Ranger Tour - "The June 3 Charge"
                 Departs from Union turnout, 1 hour
11:00am:  Artillery & Rifle Demonstration
                 followed by Ranger tour to Confederate camp
Noon:        Ranger Tour - "One Regiment's Fate", 1 hour
1:00pm:    Artillery & Rifle Demonstration
                 followed by Ranger tour to Confederate camp
3:00pm:    Artillery & Rifle Demonstration
                 followed by Ranger tour to Confederate camp
4:00pm:    "The June 3 Charge"  Ranger Tour
                 Departs from Union turnout, 1 hour
5:30pm-
9:30pm
:    Kid-friendly activities and exhibits at the mobile education trailer
8:00pm:    Civil War musical performance by Southern Horizon 
8:00pm:    Candlelight Tours Begin (departing every ten minutes)

Sunday, June 4

10:00am:  Ranger Tour - "Grant's Greatest Regret" 
                 lasts 1 hour
11:00am:  Artillery & Rifle Demonstration
                 followed by Ranger tour to Confederate camp
Noon:       Ranger Tour - "The June 3 Charge"
                Departs from Union turnout, 1 hour
1:00pm:   Artillery & Rifle Demonstration

                talk and book signing
