  Celebrate the history of Essex County by visiting places that highlight the first century of Massachusetts history, the 1600s. Saugus Iron Works will be open from 9:00am-5:00pm, with site tours at 11:15am and 2:15pm. Tours of the Iron Works House at 9:45am and 3:45pm are first come-first served and are limited to eight people. 17th Century Saturdays is an initiative run by the North of Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau, view event brochure (pdf). Normal fees apply at other participating locations. Event takes place on the first Saturday of the month from June to October.
