Harvest Day

    Enjoy ongoing farm activities from 19th century cider-pressing and ice cream making demonstrations, to corn shucking contests and listen to musical performances by National Park Service staff and volunteers as they play period music on the fiddle and banjo. Witness living history demonstrations of the work and life on an Antebellum plantation. Also, join a park ranger for a tour of the farm buildings as she gives voice to those forced into servitude on the Ridgley estate. See specific schedule of events below:

    Guided mansion tours:
    10 am, 11 am, & 3 pm.
    Mansion tours are approximately 45-60 minutes in length and will be available on a first come, first served basis. There is a limit of 15 people per tour. Reservations for mansion tours will not be taken.

    Mansion Open House
    12 pm - 3 pm
    Visitors are welcome to tour the mansion at their own pace during the open house from 12 pm until 3 pm. National Park Service staff members and volunteers will be stationed throughout the various rooms of the mansion to answer questions and interpret the history of the mansion.
     

    Admission to the park and all events is free. Parking may be available on a first come, first served basis. Reservations are not required and will not be taken. ADA accessible. For more information please call 410-823-1309.
