  All Day at the Murie Science and Learning Center

  • Kid’s crafts - make and paint a bird house.
  • Drink bird-friendly certified coffee and enjoy snacks.
  • Craft a bird sightings board and more!

  Scheduled Activities

  
  8 am: Be a Gray Jay Biologist
  Join avian ecologist Tucker Grigsby to learn and get involved in Denali’s new citizen science project.
  
  9 am - 11 am: Bird Walk
  A two-hour stroll with Alaska naturalist Nan Eagleson and avian ecologist Emily Williams. Meet a the Murie Science and Learning Center at 9 am to join.
  
  11 am - 12:30 pm: "The Messenger"
  A special screening of a new bird conservation film (1.5 hrs). There will be two screenings of The Messenger: 11 am & 2 pm.
  
  1 pm: How You Can Be a Bird Conservationist
  Join us for a talk by avian ecologist Laura Phillips.
  
  2 pm - 3:30 pm: "The Messenger"
  A special screening of a new bird conservation film (1.5 hrs).
  
  4 pm: Birdsong & Soundscapes
