Saturday, April 16th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. In the picnic area of Montezuma Castle, youth will engage in hands-on activities ranging from ancient technologies/survival skills, plants and wildlife, archaeology, astronomy, to leave no trace and recycling. Plan to spend at least an hour to earn a Junior Ranger Patch and Certificate.
New this year, are the Girl Scout Ranger and Boy Scout Ranger programs at Junior Ranger Day. Scouts will earn special certificates and patches, in addition to the Junior Ranger items.Please visit www.nps.gov/youthprograms for more information.
