Fun Run: Join park staff at the North Carolina Monument parking area at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11th for a 1.5 mile Fun Run. The trail is moderate in difficulty and does encompass a few moderate hills. The trail will take the runner through scenic landscape that maintains historical significance from Robert E. Lee’s surrender to U.S. Grant on April 9, 1865. This event is for all runners who enjoy the outdoors. Please bring proper footwear for running.
