Grant Rundown:
Have you heard about the America's Best Idea's Grant (think Ken Burns documentary)? Point Reyes National Seashore just received this grant from the National Park Foundation and we've chosen to use that money toward connecting with our local and underserved youth. Our grant project is called the Seashore Youth Ambassadors Project (SYAP). The developing summer/fall schedule aims to engage our local youth and their families with the magical places and people of the Seashore. In other words, can our Seashore inspire, support and serve our kids now and for their future? AND conversely, how can youth be of service and stewardship to the Seashore?

For more info or to get involved with this project, please contact SYAP Coordinator Jamie Shulander at 415-450-7884 or by email.
