In celebration of Alaska Day and the one-hundred year anniversary of the Alaska Native Brotherhood, Sitka National Historical Park will be offering traditional activities for children at the park's visitor center. These activities will take place on Alaska Day, Thursday, October 18th from 2:30-4:30. Families will have the opportunity to construct different traditional pieces of Native Alaskan art with Sitka Native Education Programing Director Nancy Douglas and artist Charlie Skultka Jr. Come join us for some family fun, and celebrate the important role that the Alaskan Native Brotherhood has played in Alaskan society for the past 100 years.
