Description
Paddle the Vermillion River with park ranger Sharon Stiteler. This guided canoe paddle on the Vermillion will take you through a unique portion of this national park that’s reminiscent of a Louisiana bayou. This area is great for wildlife observation — come see bald eagles, great blue herons, we might even be able to sneak up on a muskrat! Canoes, paddles and life-jackets will be provided by the National Park Service.
Please note: while there is no age limit for this public event, all attendees must be 30 lbs or over to fit the provided life jackets.
