Description

Join a park ranger for this year's "History at Sunset" series of programs at Cedar Creek and Belle Grove National Historical Park.

In "Life in the Borderland: The Limits & Possibilities of Freedom," how was life for enslaved and free blacks forced to live under the design of oppression? Explore with a ranger the answers to these and other questions. Some benches are provided but bringing your own lawn chair is suggested.

History at Sunset

Explore and learn about the hidden gems of Cedar Creek and Belle Grove National Historical Park. On summer and fall evenings, rangers lead talks or tours in and around the park, sometimes at sites not normally open.
