The Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board presents the 12th Annual Valley Forge Revolutionary 5-mile Run ® to be held on Sunday April 23, 2017. Sign up for this challenging race that winds through scenic Valley Forge National Historical Park. You must register to take part in the race.
This is a USATF sanctioned race. Race proceeds benefit Valley Forge NHP, its trails, and programs. The event also includes a 3-mile walk and 1.776 km youth fun run. The Revolutionary Run Event is a fun way for the entire family to get out and get active!
The main entrance will re-open at 9:45 a.m. Any visitor parking in the Visitor Center parking lot before 8:30 a.m. will not be able to exit until this time. All other roads and parking areas will open at 11:00 a.m. Please be aware of participants still on the course.
We encourage visitors to plan their arrival to the Visitor Center for after 9:45 a.m. re-opening. Note that Washington's Headquarters will open at 9:00 a.m. The Chapel, Wilson Road, Knox, River Trail, and Betzwood Parking lots will be open at normal hours.
We also encourage those bringing horse trailers to park at the Chapel lot.
