Description
How can political upheaval impact personal relationships? During this one hour, interactive program, we will explore how Henry Longfellow, Fanny Longfellow, and their best friend Charles Sumner navigated that very problem as the United States hurtled ever closer to Civil War. Step into the shoes of people within the Longfellow’s circle and join the discussion, using the words of those who lived it.
Join Longfellow Ranger Meaghan and Boston African American National Historic Site Ranger Megan as they bring this story to life, using the words of Sumner and the Longfellows!
