Description
The staff at Fort Frederica National Monument invite you to join a celebration of the life and contributions of native son Robert S. Abbott on the 80th anniversary of his death which occured on February 29, 1940. It is during this celebratory event that we'd like to take a special moment to memorialize individuals discovered in what is believed to be an African American burial ground at Frederica.
