Description
As this is a seminar on “‘more than basic” photography, we will concentrate on techniques that build upon basic knowledge of photography and camera use so you should be familiar with simple use of your camera. Ideal images to have: wide-angle for scenics , macro-capable lens or adapters for close-ups, and telephoto. A polarizing filter for your wide-angle will help cut glare. Tripods are recommended. Please note: amateurs are very welcome to attend and participant from the past “beginner” level photo workshops at Shenandoah National Park
The morning session will be held at Big Meadows Lodge in the Massanutten Room and the afternoon session will be conducted at Camp Rapidan (transportation will be provided).
This seminar is intended for the general public ages 12 and up and space is limited to 20 participants.
