Description

Read with a Ranger is back this summer! Join Ranger Gabby at Meinders Community Library at 11:00 am on select Thursdays this summer as she reads children's stories that teach Dakota and Lakota language and values. Each story will end with a hands-on activity for kids.

These programs are free and open to the public.

The dates and books being read this summer are:

June 3rd – Muskrat and Skunk - Sinkpe Na Maka: A Lakota Drum Story

June 17th – Mní kiŋ ówaŋča - Water is Everywhere!

July 1st  – Mother Goose

July 15th  – Meadowlark and the Rattlesnake

July 29th  – Turtle Goes to War

August 12th – Šuŋgíla Kiŋ Náǧi Waŋgláke - The Fox Who Saw His Own Shadow
