This trail is closed due to extensive erosion from recent storms.


This side trail provides an opportunity to explore the geological features of Cabrillo National Monument. From the trail head, you have an amazing view of the cliff side.

The spur trail is a steep grade-incline pathway with loose gravel and stairs. Please stay on path to avoid furth erosion in the area. From the base of the trail, you can see geological formations and algal species without entering the tidepools. There is no water access from this entrance.
