Hike with scenic views
Ocean Path is a popular trail that stretches from Sand Beach to Otter Point along the length of Park Loop Road featuring scenic views of the rocky coastline. This is a gradual hike with steady inclines and declines and is 2.2-miles one way, a 4.4-mile round trip.

There are various ways to access Ocean Path. The path follows Park Loop Road, and it's trailhead is located in the upper parking lot of Sand Beach. Visitors can parallel park on the right side of the road to access Ocean Path, or they can park in one of the parking lots on Park Loop Road. Old Soaker Parking Lot is located past Sand Beach, and offers multiple accessible parking spaces. There is an additional, smaller lot past Thunder Hole that can also be used to access Ocean Path.

The path itself is adjacent to the road and is surfaced with concrete and packed gravel. Occasionally, there are short wooden stairways when the path crosses over uneven ground.
