In addition, park rangers staff the "Ranger Roost" - an outdoor information desk, at the Roaring Springs Overlook Kiosk, just north of the Visitor Center, on the canyon side of the main parking lot.

The Norh Rim Visitor Center and Park Store offers visitors to the North Rim a chance to ask questions, plan trips, prepare for hikes, and learn about the canyon's unique resources. Purchases help fund new exhibits, scientific research, trail restoration, wildlife monitoring, ecological restoration, support for the arts, Junior Ranger and education programs, and historic building preservation.
