The National Park Service (NPS) provides a variety of planning and environmental documents to help guide management of park projects. The Planning, Environment, & Public Comment (PEPC) website allows the public to select active NPS projects around the nation and participate in the planning process, including projects Padre Island National Seashore.
The PEPC website can be easily accessed online at https://parkplanning.nps.gov/publicHome.cfm.
Currently, the majority of Padre Island National Seashore project notifications are being delivered by post. Beginning May 1, 2015, we will be transferring to an electronic platform to distribute correspondence regarding park projects and associated compliance documents. E-mail will be the primary method used to expedite communications with those individuals interested in learning more about ongoing projects at Padre Island National Seashore.
At this time, we are inviting individuals interested in receiving notifications to e-mail us and request placement on the e-mail list. Please enter "Electronic PEPC Communications" in the subject line and include: 1) your full name, 2) mailing address, and 3) e-mail address. If you are currently on the mailing list and prefer to continue receiving notifications via post or if you wish to remove your name from the mailing list, please submit all written comments to:
Padre Island National Seashore
Attn: Electronic PEPC Communications
P.O. Box 181300
Corpus Christi, Texas 78480
Additionally, it is important to note that if we do not receive a response from those individuals currently on the mailing list by May 1, 2015 regarding your preferred method of communication, your name and contact information will be removed from all mailing lists regarding Padre Island National Seashore projects and compliance.
If you have any additional questions please contact Jim Lindsay at (361)-949-8173 ext. 223 or by e-mail.
