Animal Life on the Farm is a multi-sensory program which provides an alternative method for strengthening and reinforcing auditory and visual perception and oral language skills. The program's activities are designed to help students (pre-k to 1st grade) identify farm animals and to recognize that all living things have needs. The program is intended for classes of 25 students or fewer. A kit with lots of hand-on activities and farm items should be picked up at least two weeks prior to the field trip. The kit can be returned on the day of the trip. This program is presented on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m from October to June. Please call 301.839.1176 to make your reservation at least two weeks before coming to the park.
