Welcome to the Southern Arizona Office (SOAR) of the National Park Service. We are located in Phoenix, Arizona, providing support to Arizona's park units. We promote education, conservation, and visitor enjoyment.

You can use this website to find parks you want to visit, learn how the NPS in Arizona is engaging our next generation of visitors, and help us celebrate our next 100 years of serving parks. You can also learn who to partner with to accomplish your project.

SOAR is an urban headquarters, focused on supporting the Arizona NPS units and Statewide relationships. SOAR supports the Arizona units with all facets of operations: administration, visitor services, resource protection, facilities, and natural and cultural resources.
