Gunnison Tunnel, the West Portal is near Montrose and the East         Portal is in the Black Canyon of Gunnison National Park
Minidoka’s spillway is made of concrete and stretches 2,300 feet long, or nearly one-half of a mile. In the fall of 2011, Reclamation was to begin construction a new spillway.

The Derby Diversion Dam diverts Truckee River water into the Truckee Canal, which carries it south to increase the flow available for irrigating farms in the Carson River’s Lahontan Valley.
