The House at 5098 Highway 604 is eligible for listing on the National Register ofHistoric Places under Criterion C for association with Architecture. The building is a planter's cottage with vernacular Greek Revival details built in 1880. Having retained most of its original features, the property is an excellent example of this style of architecture. Largely thanks to the damage inflicted on the community by Hurricane Katrina, it is a rare surviving historic building in Pearlington.
