In 2002, the City ofNeillsville received a grant from the National Park Service to conduct an intensive survey of the city in order to determine what buildings and districts were considered to be potentially eligible for the National Register. 3 In 2012, the city again received a grant from the National Park Service, this time to prepare National Register nominations based on the results of the 2003-2004 survey.
