Pecos National Historical Park

Located along the Ancestral Sites Trail stands the remains of the fourth and final 18th century Spanish Mission Church. This final church stands on top of the foundation of the previous mission that was destroyed during the Pueblo Revolt of 1680 after years of oppression under the Spanish Empire.
