Extended Description

The Columbia River, which also acts as the state line, curves shallowly across the gray area. Vancouver is labeled in Washington and Fort Vancouver National Historic Site is near the intersection of Interstate 5 and the river. Portland is south of the river. The other green callout box identifies McLoughlin House along the southern edge of the ruffle-edged gray area near Interstate 205. Interstate 84 travels east-west in Oregon and connects Interstates 5 and 205.
