Alt Text Map of Grant-Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site in Montana. Buildings and sites are shown in brown, some paths in yellow, a paved trail in white, and the surrounding terrain in faded beige and green. Sixteen sites are numbered. Extended Description The Visitor Center, which has parking and restrooms, lies in the southeast corner of the park, across the map from the bulk of the sites. A paved trail leaves the Visitor Center, heads toward the center of the park, passes under two railroad tracks and across a Nature Trail, and arrives at Ranch House, one of the largest buildings in the park. The distance of the paved trail is marked 0.25 miles (0.40 kilometers). Ranch House is numbered 1. Yellow roads connect the numbered sites. Continuing north from Ranch House are number 2, Bunkhouse Row; number 3, Ice House/Tack Room; number 10, Granary; number 11, Draft Horse Barn; number 12, Dairy; number 13, Oxen Barn; and number 14, Bielenberg Barn. Accessible Parking is located near the Dairy building and can be accessed by entering the park on Cattle Drive. Three structures are southwest of Ranch House, including number 4, Garage/Repair Shop, which has restrooms; number 5, Thoroughbred Barn; and number 6, Leeds Lion Barn. Ten more buildings and sites, some unlabeled, stretch west from Ranch House. Buggy Shed, number 9, is near Chuck Wagon and Stallion Barn. Farther west is a Chicken Coop, number 8; and four sites around number 7, a Feed Lot, and Sheds. The yellow path travels from Ranch House, past Thoroughbred Barn, and south to Stuart Field where it curves west. The path continues by Beaver Slide Hay Stacker and continues, off the map, near a note reading “Trail to Clark Fork.” Another leg turns north along the Kohrs-Manning Irrigation Ditch and past the feed lot to continue off the top edge of the map, where text reads “Loop trail to Ranch House, Total distance: 0.75 miles (1.2 km).” Back near Ranch House and the neighboring Bunkhouse Row, Cattle Drive heads east across the railroad tracks, one of which has the note, “East track is active.” The Warren Barn (Maintenance Building), number 16, is located just off the north side of Cattle Drive. Warren Lane branches off the south side of Cattle Drive and then heads east out of the park. The Warren House (Administrative Offices), number 15, is located just off the south side of Warren Lane. Legend A scale near the bottom right area of the map measures distances of 25 and 50 meters and 100 and 200 feet. Below the scale a legend reads as follows: Yellow for Walking Paths and Dirt Roads, and Beige thin line for Fences.
