Alt Text Map of the area around Navajo National Monument in Arizona. Most of the Four Corners region is tan-colored, with about a dozen parks, monuments, and sites marked in green. Brown roads create a web across the map. Extended Description White state lines intersect in the top right quadrant of the map, where four states meet: Utah in the top left, Colorado in the top right, New Mexico in the bottom right, and Arizona in the bottom left. The Navajo National Monument is accessed via a small road off of State Route 564. Closely surrounding the monument are the towns of Page, Shonto, and Kayenta. State Routes 564, 59, and 264 and US Routes 191 and 160 create a triangular circuit across the section of Arizona shown, so Kayenta is on one long side. Canyon de Chelly National Monument is near the middle of another long side to the right, and Hubbel Trading Post National Historic Site is at the point opposite Kayenta. Three Hopi Villages are along the third long side and the town of Tuba City is on the point following. Rainbow Bridge National Monument is just north of the Arizona and Utah state line, northwest of Kayenta. Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park straddles the state line to the northeast, and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area in Utah surrounds most of a lake in the top left corner of this map. Four Corners is marked where the four states meet, and Mesa Verde National Park is shown as green in Colorado, near the top right corner of the map. Legend A scale in the lower left corner of the map measures 50 kilometers and 50 miles.
