Alt Text 3D map of Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park in New Jersey. The Passaic River cuts across the center of the map. The river and surrounding park areas are rendered in full color. Outlying areas are shown as faded tan. Extended Description The Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park is part of the Passaic River, which runs through Paterson, New Jersey. Starting on the left side of the map, the river runs under Wayne Avenue before falling over Great Falls, a rocky waterfall. The river jogs down under a bridge before sharply turning to the right at the S.U.M. Hydroelectric Plant. Near the plant is an Overlook point as well as public parking and the S.U.M. Building. Across McBride Avenue from the S.U.M. Building is the park Welcome Center, which has restrooms. The Stanley M. Levine Reservoir is along the left side of the map under the river. A Raceway runs around the near side of the reservoir and across the closer riverbank. Down the street from the Welcome Center on Spruce Street is the Paterson Museum, also with restrooms. Continuing along the closer side of the river, McBride Avenue passes another leg of the Raceway, the Colt Gun Mill near Mill Street, and Allied Textile Printing (A.T.P.) Ruins near the river. Van Houten Street and the Raceway continue to the right to pass unlabeled buildings, and the Raceway ends near the right edge of the map. Back at the left side of the map, McBride Avenue connects to the far side of the river where it continues as Wayne Avenue over the Passaic River shortly before the Great Falls dropoff. Along the far riverbank are Mary Ellen Kramer Park and Hinchliffe Stadium, which have parking. S.U.M. Island is on the far riverbank on the right edge of the map. Legend A compass in the upper left area over the map shows north pointing almost to the right. Two symbols next to the compass represent Parking and Restrooms.
