Alt Text Map of the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site in New York. A dozen brown building sites are spaced across the estate, which is otherwise shown in beige. Estate roads and paths are shown in white. Extended Description Public access is along the top of the map where there is parking and the Henry A. Wallace Visitor Center. South of the visitor center is the Franklin D. Roosevelt Library and Museum. Smaller buildings are clustered in the southwest quadrant. Moving from the library and museum down into that corner are the Rose Garden, Gravesite, and Hemlock hedge, which are outlined in green. That area is shaped like a chunky backward capital L. Tucked into the bend are the Large Icehouse and Greenhouse, with the Gardner’s Cottage a short distance away. Continuing southwest are the Coach House and Stables, Laundry, and, in the bottom left corner, Springwood, the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt. Private paths and estate roads cased in gray connect all the buildings on the estate. An arrow on a path to the west of Springwood has a note reading, “To Environmental Study Area and Hyde Park Trail.” Legend A scale in the lower right corner of the map measures distances of 50 meters and 100 and 200 feet. Below the scale, a white solid line cased in light gray represents estate roads and paths closed to vehicles.
