Alt Text Locator globe for National Park of American Samoa is dated July 2011. Blue ocean waters cover the sphere, which is scattered with specks of blue and patches of green land. Extended Description Three dashed blue lines run horizontally at even intervals across the globe, showing latitudes that include the equator at the middle. The North Pacific Ocean is labeled at the top and the South Pacific Ocean at the bottom. Near the center of the globe, bold, red text and leader lines encase the Samoa Islands as a cluster of blue specks. Skirting the islands to the left, a dashed gray line zigzags vertically down the length of the globe to indicate the International Date Line. Across the lower half of the globe, nations and islands are labeled from left to right as follows: Australia, Fiji, Tonga, New Zealand, Tahiti, and Easter Island. In the north central region, green and blue specks represent Hawaii, while a sliver of the mainland US stretches along the upper right edge of the globe.
