Alt Text Map of Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park in Kentucky. The park is shown in green against an empty beige background, and roads are shown in peach. Extended Description The park is roughly triangular with straight borders. The east edge is almost vertical, and the north corner ends with an angular bulb-like projection facing the body of the park. The southern edge is also straight until it meets a tab-shaped projection near the west corner. The long, top boundary angles northeast to connect the corners. US Route 31E, also labeled State Route 61, travels from the top edge of the map through the park. Text near the top edge indicates that the road continues north “To Hodgenville and Abraham Lincoln Boyhood Home,” and routes 31E and 61 split just south of the park. Keith Road branches northeast from the combined routes 31E and 61 to travel along the edge of the triangle leading to the bulb but turning southeast before arriving at the corner. It crosses the Big Sink Trail, which creates a loop. Red text there reads “Caution! Big Sink Trail crosses Keith Road twice. Be alert for traffic.” A park road also branches northeast from routes 31E/61 to end in a loop by a parking area, restrooms, and picnic area. Another park road branches southwest from routes 31E/61 farther down in the park. That road leads to an oval Parking Area and a rectangular Overflow Parking Area near the Visitor Center. The wheelchair-accessible Pathway of a President and the Boundary Oak Trail reach out from the visitor center along either side of a Sinking Spring, labeled in blue, and a white structure labeled Memorial Building in red. A location on the south side of the Boundary Oak Trail points to the Site of the Boundary Oak. Legend A scale in the lower center of the map measures distances of 100 meters and 500 feet.
