The footprints of interior rooms are shown in pale sage green and the exterior Portico in darker moss green. Two independent structures with three rooms are at the top corners of the map. It leads into a Center Hall and then Hunting Hall, which stretches across the back of the house. To the right of the Center Hall are the Family Parlor and Dining Room, and then Guest Chamber, Mr. and Mrs. Custis’ Chamber, School and Sewing Room, Inner Hall, Outer Hall Pantry, and Bath and Water Closet. Stairs in this area are labeled North Wing Entrance. To the left of the Center Hall are the White Parlor, Morning Room, Store Room, Office and Studio, and Conservatory. The structure in the top left corner of the map has the Black History Exhibit and Selena Gray’s quarters. The structure opposite this one has the Summer Kitchen/George Clark’s quarters. Each room in both of these free-standing structures has a doorway facing inward, and the rooms are not interconnected.
