Alt Text Map of Booker T. Washington National Memorial in Virginia. State Route 122 runs vertically up the left side of the map and the park, shown in green, extends like a forked flag to the right. Extended Description Two park roads branch from State Route 122 near the bottom left corner of the park. One leads straight along the lower edge to Park Headquarters, and the other curves up to access parking, a picnic area, and Visitor Center. Hayes Cemetery lies on the far side of State Route 122 and Burroughs Cemetery is just to the left of the visitor center. The Jack-O-Lantern Branch Heritage Trail reaches out from the visitor center to span the width of the park. An area boxed in above the visitor center has the note “See other side for historic area detail.” Seven sites represented with black squares and the Plantation Trail are marked within that rectangle. Shown in blue, the Jack-O-Lantern Branch runs across the top edge of the map and Gills Creek cuts across the bottom right edge. Legend A scale in the lower right corner of the map measures distances of 0.1 and 0.2 kilometers and 0.1 and 0.2 miles.
