Alt Text Map of a portion of the western coast of Guam including the spur-shaped Orote Peninsula. Sites are labeled in green text along the coastline and park areas are outlined in dark green against the otherwise sage-green terrain. Water is shown in blue and reefs as ice white. Extended Description From north to south and east to west, the town of Hagåtña (Agana) is near Park Headquarters. Route 4 travels from the right side of the map up to end at Route 1, also labeled Marine Corps Drive. Route 1 continues along the coastline to Orote Peninsula, and it continues south of there as Route 2. Marine Corps Drive continues west to the Asan Beach Unit, which includes Adelup Point and Asan Point. South of the coastal town of Asan, the Asan Inland Unit is outlined in green and filled in with white. The unit is crescent-shaped with the points facing up. The Matgue River and Asan River run through this unit. Route 6 travels south from near Adelup Point to pass the Font Plateau Unit and Asan Bay Overlook along the southern edge of Asan Inland Unit. Route 6 continues west past Piti Guns Unit and Piti Guns Trail south of the coastal town of Piti, which is on Marine Corps Drive. A branch extends from Marine Corps Drive to stretch the length of Cabras Island just west of Piti, nearly reaching the long, needlelike Glass Breakwater. The Apra Outer Harbor is below the breakwater and Apra Inner Harbor tucked into Orote Peninsula, which is also labeled Naval Base Guam. Marine Corps Drive runs alongside the coasts next to the harbors and passes the T. Stell Newman Visitor Center. A location labeled Mt. Chachao/Mt. Tenjo Unit to the east of the Apra Inner Harbor has text reading “Undeveloped site.” Marine Corps Drive curls onto the peninsula and Route 2 continues south past Route 5, which leads to the town of Apra Heights and Route 12 to Santa Rita. Route 2 passes the Agat Unit on the beach, which includes Apaca Point, Ga’an Point, Alutom, and Bangi Point along the coastline. The town of Agat is slightly inland and the Mt. Alifan Unit, another undeveloped site, is slightly east. Route 17, also labeled Cross Island Road, spans the width of the map, and continues off the right edge.
