Alt Text Map of Pullman National Historical Park in Illinois. The park is shown in green with the surrounding areas in tan and roads in white. Named buildings are shown in rust orange and others in gray. Extended Description The park is tall and narrow with stepped sides along its eastern boundary. Metra train lines run at a shallow diagonal from the lower left corner and up off the top edge of the map. South Cottage Grove Avenue makes up the western boundary of the park just inside the tracks. East 103rd Street runs along the northern boundary and East 115th Street the southern boundary. Most of the park borders are shaded dark yellow, representing the Pullman National Historic Landmark District. The National A. Philip Randoph Pullman Porter Museum and the upside-down, L-shaped Pullman Wheel Works (private residences) are two blocks down from the northern border. The Historic Pullman Firestation is four blocks south of those sites, and a cluster of buildings are more closely spaced a few blocks down from this on either side of the east-west running East 111th Street. North of the street are the National Park Service Pullman Visitor Center, Front Erecting Shops, Administration Clock Tower Building, parking, and Rear Erecting Shops. South of East 111th Street are the Hotel Florence in Pullman Park, the Pullman House Project Welcome Center, Historic Pullman Foundation and Pullman Exhibit Hall, Arcade Park, Market Hall, Greenstone Church, Pullman Stables, and Historic Pullman Foundation. The Pullman National Historic Landmark District follows the east border of the park at the top and bottom but swings away from the eastern boundary in the middle to follow a railroad line there and encompass some gray buildings on tan city blocks.
