Extended Description

The Clara Barton Parkway and then MacArthur Boulevard curve parallel to the river. A note along the left edge of the map indicates that Clara Barton Parkway travels “To Interstate 495, South Exit 41.” MacArthur Boulevard continues “To Washington, DC” off the bottom right corner of the map, and a note nearby reads “No southbound entry to Clara Barton Parkway from MacArthur Boulevard.”

Cabin John Parkway cuts across MacArthur Boulevard and joins with Clara Barton Parkway west of Clara Barton National Historic Site. Oxford Road branches south from MacArthur Boulevard about two-thirds of the way across the map and leads to parking, the historic site, and Glen Echo Park.

Cabin John Parkway leads north “To Interstate 495 North Exit 40.” Wilson Lane, also State Route 188, branches north off of MacArthur just east of the intersection with Cabin John. Goldsboro Road curves northeast from MacArthur near Oxford Road and leads to Massachusetts Avenue, which leads “To Washington, D.C.”
