Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial Grove on the Potomac

Located on Columbia Island along the George Washington Memorial Parkway, Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial Grove on the Potomac was designed in part by former First Lady Claudia Alta "Lady Bird Johnson". During his presidency, the Johnsons would stop at this location to peer across the river at the Washington Monument and D.C. skyline for a few moments of peace and reflection.
