Meadow Prescribed Fire

Size: 20 acres

The entire unit is 94 acres, but only a 20 acre portion was burned during this prescribed fire. The remainder of the unit was burned in 1999 and 2000.

Date(s): April 30 & May 10, 2002

Primary Goals
1. Reduce non-native perennial grasses.
2. Enhance native grass and forb species.
3. Reduce pine seedlings encroaching into meadow areas.
