Meet the Artist!

Amy Araujo is the park’s first Artist-In-Residence selected out of four artists to showcase and share their passion for art with others. Amy will be working in the MakerSpace from October 1 - December 31.

Amy is a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth with a Bachelors and Master's in Fine Arts. Amy’s area of expertise is charcoal, pen and ink, and works primarily in large scale figurative work. Her work is focused on continuing a conversation on identity, morals, internal and external conflicts within society, and inequality. While creating artwork, Amy will be offering figure drawing classes to the public.

Clothed Figure Drawing Class Information:
Want to learn how to draw? If so, starting November 11, Amy will host figure drawing classes in the MakerSpace every Saturday from 1:00 - 3:30 PM until the end December.
