Superintendent Kathleen Bond of Natchez National Historical Park invites you to step outside the house and take a turn on the grounds to capture the beauty that spring brings to Melrose. From March 5th through April 3rd during the time called "Spring Pilgrimage" take pictures of the many varieties of flowers and trees that burst into vibrant colors on the 80-acre estate and e-mail us your one (1) best picture. A panel consisting of National Park Service volunteers and Natchez Tricentennial committee members will review and rank the photos. The top 10 will be posted on the park's Facebook page. The one receiving the most votes will receive a "Centennial" gift package to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service and the "Tricentennial" of the city of Natchez.
