Map of Cabin Branch Mine
1916

The Cabin Branch Mine complex consisted of seventy buildings over 88 acres. This included housing for workers and owners: three large houses for mine officials located just outside of the park’s current boundary. There were also six black dormitories. The company town also had machine shops, a company store, a mill, a crusher house, an engine room, and a boiler room. The buildings were constructed of wood, brick, and concrete.
