Doll
Ida Blackeagle, an accomplished Nez Perce weaver, made traditional women’s clothing for this doll. The doll has a beaded buckskin dress, cuffs, leggings, and moccasins. Her hair is wrapped in otter skins. The doll may have been made for sale to visitors coming to the area. Traditionally, miniatures were used by both boys and girls to learn about the roles each would play as they grew into adulthood.
