Stereograph of Lincoln Home Draped in Mourning with Old Bob

After Lincoln was assassinated, everything associated with his past became shrines.  The Springfield house was draped in mourning. Lincoln’s old horse, Bob, was frequently trotted out for photographs in front of the house.
