Boots
1840-1870

Leather dyed pair of small boy's boots.

In the mid-1800s, most boys wore boots at all times of the year.  By 1860 Tad and Willie, who were 7 and 10, would have worn slightly larger boots than these, which would have looked much like their Father’s boots, although much smaller than his (modern) size 14s.
